Granitoid ortogneiss of pre-Triassic age, with heterogeneous grain and pervasive schistosity. The rock is characterised by a light background, whitish for the presence of quartz and with a finely dotted pattern and elongated spots. It is particularly suitable fot the "open spot" use.
Uses: indoor and outdoor floorings and coatings, kitchen and bathroom table-tops, stairs, benches, flower-holders, columns, fountains, funerary art, graves chapels, skirting units, threshold, window-sills, window surrounds, portals, frames, sills, shelfskerbs, road paving. |
